RightMove Recruitment are now hiring for expereinced Chefs of all levels to join our clients all over Ireland. Main Purpose of the Job:To ensure that all food preparation and dishes are made to the standards determined by the company.Key Responsibilities:Chef de Partie Focus:Meet daily with Head chef / Sous chef to determine daily objectives.Assigns and monitors production and prep duties to the team. Ensures that prep levels are met at all times.Assist with supervising the preparation of all food items ensuring quality and correct quantity. Will supervise in the absence of management.Prepares all food items in accordance with established recipes and quality standards in a timely manner.Communicates with Head chef / Sous chef in relation to:A) Quantity of Product – abundance or storage.B) Quality of ProductC) Any associates concern or performances issuesD) Technical deficiencies.Ensure that restaurant cost control policies and procedures are being adhered to.Assists with kitchen inventories on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis.Strategic / Reporting:Inspect the cleanliness of all kitchen work stations, tools, equipment and supplies and ensure the proper food handling techniques are being followed.Assist in conforming to the fire, health and safety and Hotel regulations and laws governing food and beverages.To assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in ensuring that all staff members are trained in standards operating procedures and in all tasks required in the kitchen operation.To ensure that all appliances, fixtures and fittings are safe and work in accordance with Health and Safety regulations.Ensure that reasonable care is taken for the health and safety to yourself, other employees, guests and other persons on the premises.Additional responsibilities:To report for duty on time and in the correct business attire.To accept flexible work schedule necessary for uninterrupted service to restaurant guests.To attend all training courses as notified to you.To ensure that the company policies, the vision statement and departmental objectives are followed and utilised at all times.To adhere to Hotel Fire, Emergency and Security Procedures.Perform other duties as required as far as trained.
